Sample and Hold

An initial cut of this up up on github. The development has taken the docs for the Doepfer A-148 as a starting point. Input and suggestions for improvement or change of direction are welcome!

Inputs

• input signal (bounded float (-1,1) signal)
• gate signal (bounded float (-1,1) signal)

Outputs

• audio output (bounded float (-1, 1) signal)

The input signal is sampled when the gate signal transitions from negative to positive, and held until the next negative to positive transition.

Development Notes & Status

The initial description mentioned min, max and reset. A bit more direction on this would be appreciated. Based on modular synths it appears sensible to allow manual trigger of a sample, which could be implemented as a verb, allowing for it to be triggered via a talker.
