Description - Factory Pico Setup 1

This setup is distributed by Eigenlabs with the EigenD software and is designed for use with the Eigenharp Pico only. It contains one keygroup with 16 destinations (eight instruments and eight 'control' modes).

There are also two Audio Units and an EigenD delay connect to Mixer effect sends, and each instrument contains an inline audio unit effect.

Below is an overview of what's available in this setup.

Sampler Instruments

Sampler 1

  • Default SoundFont: Synth Pad
  • Key pressure -> note activation/velocity/aftertouch
  • Key roll -> pitch bend (range 1 semitone)
  • Strip controller -> pitch bend (range 12 semitones)

Audio Unit Instruments

The Pico's controllers are available through the Audio Unit parameter grid configuration and are set up as follows:

  • Strip controller: AU parameter column 1
  • Breath controller: AU parameter column 2
  • Key pressure: note activation/velocity/aftertouch & AU parameter column 3
  • Key roll: pitch bend (range 1 semitone) & AU parameter column 4
  • Key yaw: AU parameter column 5
  • Absolute strip position: AU parameter column 6

Clarinet physical model

Control Modes

The following control modes available are:

Drummer Control

  • Drummer voices on/off
  • Drummer loop browse
  • Metronome start/stop
  • Clicker on/off
  • Tap tempo bar/beat key

Scale Control

This mode changes the kgroup scale to one of the eight defined scales:

  • Major
  • Harmonic Minor
  • Melodic Minor
  • Chromatic
  • Blues
  • Pentatonic Major
  • Diminished
  • Whole Tone

Key Control

This mode sets the kgroup key.

Instrument/FX Control

This mode contains all the controls for individual instruments/FX.

Recorder Control

This mode contains a talker which defines a variable bar length and arms instruments to record.

Inline FX Control

This mode is used to show/hide and bypass/enable the instruments Inline AU FX.

Scheduler Control

This mode allows you to toggle the playback of scheduled events (e.g. recordings)

Drummer Volume Control

This mode allows you to control the volumes of individual drummer voices.
