Hello,
how can I use belcanto to define a scale on the fly?
I.e. rather than putting a scale into "User Scales.txt" (with intervals=....), is it possible to use belcanto to define a scale while EigenD is running?
Thanks!

I don't know if you can define ad hoc scales via Belcanto. I haven't seen anything yet suggesting that you can.
Actually, you can put new scales into User Scales.txt and access them while EigenD is running. I don't recall at the moment if you need to reload your setup after saving the file.
EigenTab web app that I mentioned previously will send scale and tonic configuration to your harp. It will allow you to define custom scales and check the fingering of chords, but it doesn't appear to me to send custom scale definitions, only scale names. I think it could work to select custom scales if you name them "user 1", "user 2", etc coordinated with your User Scales.txt.
In EigenD 2.0 it's now possible to define scales on the fly - see scaler documentation!
