tau has been sold!

The Eigenharp Rental Scheme has shipping + insurance as 136.50 pounds ($220). Not sure if it can be shipped for cheaper.

Keep in mind that buying a used Tau from someone in Europe isn't quite the discount for those of us in the US as it would be for other people. While the TAU retails at 1995.00 pounds, that includes 20% VAT. It's actually just 1662.50 pounds for those of us in the US to buy one. We do pay an import fee of around 5-7% on top of that. (Not sure if that would apply to buying a used instrument).

Also, buying a new instrument gives you 12 months of EigenD which is 90 pounds.

You should still see some saving buying it used, though. I'd try to check out if the subscription is transferable(I dont think it is) and if you have to pay import fees.
