General Discussion: Request for help from Eigenharp community

STICKY

written by: geert

Thanks everyone for stepping up to help, these are the people that have volunteered (also on G+):

GoneCaving, keyman, MarkPowell, NothanUmber, dkah, mikemilton, geert ... so that's 7 people, coming out at only three videos for every person, I'll take on the remaining two.

As soon as you have the summary written up, just add it as a comment here, clearly stating which clubhouse episode it's from. I'll then add it to the YouTube videos and on EigenZone.

So let's divide up:

After the recording of yesterday's clubhouse, I took the trouble of writing out a summary of the topics. I now realize I should have done this from the start, but sadly didn't. The advantages are obvious: easy to search for relevant recordings, preview of what to expect, early decision making if it's worthwhile to sit through an hour long video, ...

I'll now continue to do this for all future recordings, however the existing 23 clubhouse recordings should really have this topic list also.

If we divide up the work, it would only take a couple of hours for everyone to write this out. All the previous recordings can be found in this YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFE441DF354F31431

Who's willing to help me out with this? Once we know who's in, we can start dividing up the work.

Thanks!

I'm in! It's a small price to pay in thanks for the effort you put in recording the sessions in the first place.

I'm slowly coming "back" to normal... and it is a good idea (I remember doing this informally a couple of times)
So, I've only miss this last ones (clubhouse), count me in!

Hi Geert,
It might take me a few weeks due to other commitments, but I'm happy to do two or three.

Thanks,
Mark.

I could help, too.
Probably it would be more interesting for people who don't know the videos yet (have seen most but don't have a good enough memory to know all the content without watching again - this is the disadvantage of videos, it's more difficult to speed-read (or better speedwatch) them ;))

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say that I'm still due to summarise two of my three videos. I've not forgotten, but our third daughter arrived on Saturday, so I might be a few weeks. After being played every day, the alpha is now sitting in the corner looking neglected, but I'll be back on with it as soon as everything's calmed down.

Thanks,
Mark.
