That's a great thing you can do to get great sound from the mixer. You can change your default patch settings to get better sound. You can even ask iCloud Support for more information about the sound quality.

Here's a short experiment I did recently with the Tau and a couple of AAS patches. I really like the 'Jaco' bass patch.

This is really more of an experiment than a finished tune, so bear with. Quite slow and groovy... ;)

'Great' is stretching it, but I'll take the compliment. Thanks.

Sounds good. I like the style. Which AAS patches/AU are you using?

Thanks, Mike.

Duncan: I used the 'Jaco' bass patch from UltraAnalog, 'ChorusedRhoades' patch from LoungeLizard and 'Sweet Lead' from Tassman. Those are all from AAS.

In the mixer, I panned the drums and bass to the left -0.3, the keyboard to the right 0.3. I left the lead in the center.

I also set up the GlaceVerb reverb VST (free download) on Fx Send 1 in the mixer to run everything through a slight reverb. Setting for bass is 99, for keyboard is 62, for lead is 98 and for drums 82. These settings are for the default patch setting in GlaceVerb.
