I know that your Eigen elves are hard at work covering many issues and developments Just one more suggestion---
With all the keys on the Alpha and so many ways to do note and scale layouts, I find it a bit difficult to find my place note wise. Could the key lites be programed to act as markers ? Kind of like the fret markers on a guitar. Of course the guitar has fret spacing that changes as you go up the neck so there are position clues there even without the marker dots.
