Following are instructions for using LoopBe30 to set up a virtual MIDI port to be used with EigenD.
Download and configure LoopBe30
1) Download LoopBe30. Be sure to register it if you plan to continue using it. Install it. LoopBe30 has a simple installer.
2) Restart your PC to make sure driver is installed.
3) Open the LoopBe30 config dialog. You'll find it in the System Tray.
4) Uncheck the 'Enable Shortcut Detection" check box. This tells LoopBe30 to disregard the volumn of MIDI data beign sent by EigenD.
Set up MIDI Out in EigenD
1) Open EigenD
2) Open EigenBrowser
3) Access the MIDI Output Ports selector in EigenBrowser. On Pico: Hold Main Mode key, then Key 4. Hold Mode key (Key 1) and press Key 16. Press Key 9 to access to dialog.
4) Select '1. Internal MIDI'.
Select the MIDI instrument
1) Press and hold the Main Mode key
2) Press Key 16
You should now be able to send MIDI to your favorite DAW, etc.
NOTE: Don't use LoopBe1 as it has no way to allow teh volumn of MIDI data that EigenD sends and will continually throw up a 'MIDI Loop' error.
Hope this helps.
