It works amazingly!! I've just been lost for the past hour in a sea of music and harmony. Being able to play 4+ instruments in realtime is something that I have been striving to achieve for many years. Thanks for getting me to that stage tonight.

It should also get rid of the issue of finger jams. I was finding that both hands were clashing at times, so separating it out so that each hand controls a max of 2 instruments should get over that issue. It works amazingly!! Glad it's working for you. The setup still lacks a few things to make it complete, i.e.: pitch bend and yaw. If I get some time next week, I'll see what I can do. Or maybe someone else will jump on that for you.

Thanks Randy.
I've just upgraded to EigenD Pro at last, and I think I'm going to dive in and have a play myself by firing up workbench. I've been eager to tinker with this software since it was first announced :)
Being able to play 4 instruments (i.e Bass, Piano, Strings, Flute) at the same time is an incredible experience. I offset each of the courses in 5ths, similar to the tuning of the violin, and I found my fingers automatically improvising in beautiful harmony. I'm going to have a go at setting up this layout: http://i.imgur.com/XXxJy.jpg - 5 courses on the main keyboard, but split into 4 banks of 16 for the main instruments, and one bank of 8 (for percussion) on the 8 'spare' keys - maybe doubled on the main percussion keys of the tau.
Thanks for getting me started on this :)
I like your new layout better than straight line courses. That's like having 4 Picos side-by-side. :)

My project is to try to find a way to touch-type music in realtime, just as someone would use a typewriter - being able to then live loop the music on the fly. I think I now have all the tools I need to make this project a reality.... I just need to get my head around Workbench. lol
It looks like an amazing bit of software though. Thanks again for your help.
